I’ve known Payton for as long as I can remember. Our moms are best friends and they met when my mom was pregnant with my brother and Payton’s mom was pregnant with his brother. Two years and three months later, my mom had me. I turned out to be so cute, that 9 months later Mrs. Myra had Payton. We were born in Kentucky. Twenty three years later I now live in Georgia and Payton lives in Maryland. Even with the distance, our families have remained close. We got to reunite last weekend for Payton’s wedding.
I had never met Bethany, Payton’s wife to be, but I liked her from the second I finally got to meet her. She is sweeter than honey, and I’m so happy she is going to be in Payton’s life forever.
I went to the wedding as a guest, but I couldn’t help but snap a few shots of the wedding and I wanted to share them.
Sweet siblings waiting for the wedding to start.
I love wedding details.
I got to steal Bethany away for a moment to get this shot. Thank you Payton for marrying a gorgeous girl.
Farewell bells.
My dad is an amazing photographer. He also took pictures and I wanted to share some of my favorites. He also has a new, super awesome website. Check it out.
The wedding was one big party and that’s right, I joined in : )
Sara,
I got tears in my eyes reading this post and looking at the pictures. It doesn’t seem that long ago when you and Payton were playing in the Gedneys’ yard in the first photo! THANK YOU for coming to celebrate with us. The pictures and post are AWESOME! You are BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED and one of the KINDEST women I know! Your family has been an awesome blessing in our lives and we thank God for each of you! I love you! Myra
