Update for everyone back home

Hey there everyone,
Well, I still can't send email, so until then I figured that I would just write out a letter on here letting everyone know how I'm doing. Ok so here goes. YWAM is amazing. I love it here, and it's not because it's in Hawaii, actually I think I would like it better if it were in some other place. But God has me here for a reason. Anyway, Hawaii is too hot and I miss the season change, and without a car you can feel quite boxed in. But I love being on campus because there is such a love there. It's actually a pretty big campus, but I like it here. I have amazing friends here. God has blessed me so much.

Right now I'm researching the backpacking community in Australia. Then I will report back to class in a week. It's very interesting. I'm so excited about going. For those who don't know, I'm going to Australia for 6 weeks and then for 3 weeks I'm going to New Zealand. We are going to be doing all sorts of different ministries there. I'm super excited. We leave on the 23rd of Dec. So I will be spending a Summer Christmas in Sidney, Australia.

I can't believe my time here is already running out. In some ways it feels like I've been here forever and in other ways it feels like I just got here. It's hard to explain.

I wanted to thank everyone back home who is praying for me. I appreciate it so much. You are all a blessing to my life and I wanted to thank you all.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, tomorrow is going to be my first big holiday while in my adventure in Hawaii. My parents are here so that's nice. They are wonderful. But really it doesn't feel like Thanksgiving. And it doesn't help that I'm going to miss my cousin Mark crossing the finish line at the half marathon... (If I were there I would be wotching him because everyone knows I would finish before him. ; ) Just kinddin' haha. Anyway yeah, and who else is running... Daniel and Erin... is that it? Well, I wish I could be there with them running! But I will enjoy sleeping in tomorrow morning.

I got my haircut today. Yeah it looks really short from the front but it's not really that short. I think I like it. I'm not sure. I like getting my haircut though. Unless it looks super bad, yeah then I don't like it that much. I miss my pillows. And my kitty cat. I miss other things too. I wish my grandmother could have come to visit. I wish I could have some of her good cookin' tomorrow. mmmmm that would be great!

Well it's almost 11pm my time. I'm so tired. I think I better get going to bed. I hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving. Oh wait I want to say what I'm thankful for so yeah... here goes....

1. I'm thankful that I got to see my parents. I'm glad they are here.

2. I'm thankful for my wonderful roommates.

3. I'm thankful that I'm here at YWAM. I'm so glad I'm in this DTS, I'm so happy I'm in the best outreach team, they bless me everyday.

4. I'm thankful that I got my brothers letter... it made me soooooooo extremly happy!

5. I'm thankful that I have met so many wonderful people here.

6. I'm thankful that I have 3 amazing friends who left me funny messages the other day when they were at my house, I'm lad that they missed me. = ) I love you! (Lindsey,Mark,Daniel)

7. I'm thankful for me great friends here who let me come in there room whenever I want. I'm so glad that they except me for who I am. I'm thankful that they challenge me, pray with me, support me and talk with me when I need a listening ear. I love you my little family!!! (Tiffany,Martina,Josie!)

8. I'm thankful for Marina Manners!!!!!! I love you!!!!!!

9. I'm thankful that everyone got all their outreach money! What a miracle!

10. AND I'm thankful for my boyfriend DANIEL STONE!!!!!! He comes to see me on Saturday and I'm so excited. I'm also thankful that he sent me a box... that was awesome thanks hun! I miss you, have an awesome Thanksgiving! I love you!

I feel as if I could go on and on, but I'm really really tired so I better go to sleep now. Ok I love you all I hope you all have a rockin awesome Thanksgiving... no matter where you are....

Woot

So I haven't blogged in a long time. Haha I think Josie has done all the blogging and I've just done nothing. =( I'm sorry, I'll try better. It's just so hard to find time. But today is Sat. and it's 7:19 I really don't think I could sleep in much past that. It's really bright in my room. And I think that the birds are trying to build a nest right outside our window. My roommate wears one of those eye patch sleeping things. She sleeps next to the window... If I was her I think I would have to wear ear plugs. I have nothing to do this weekend. It feels nice. I have decided that I like my work duty better that the one I'm filling in for. Oh I just remembered two of my wonderful roommates are leaving this today to go on Island outreach. That makes me sad. I'm going to miss them. Wow I have an hour and then I need to go get breakfast. Hum let me see if I have any new pics, then I'll end this thing. I know it wasn't so entertaining but I mean come on... It's morning time for me.
