Today's Assignment
Today I walked into class and in the front of the room there is a table with the oddest arangment of objects all over it. There was an egg, a ruler,a plastic cup,some knifs,some childrens toys, and a ton of other things! This was our assignment ...
Take an object from the table and sue ther techniques discussed in class to explore creative ways to represent your object. You are required to shoot the following...
Surreal, dreamlike image- somewhat out of place.
Real world image.
From what the object expresses itself. (still not sure what that means)
Anyway we were supposed to turn in 4 images.
So one by one we went up a got our objects. I got a choo choo train! It was great. Oh and we only had about 2 hours to shoot this... it was crazy. I drove 30 min to find a kid and train tracks.(Thanks Ashleigh you are the best!) But it was awesome. So here is what I got. I like them.
And the rest of my day was spent trying to get little kids to smile at the camera while sitting on "Santa's" lap.... yes it's something we are doing at the school. It was pretty fun actually. From 5:30 to 9. Yup pretty hardcore... some kids just don't know how to smile... poor things.
Ok I'm out I need sleep. It's been a long day.

Am I allowed to comment??? I will anyway. Great job on these images. To get this many good images with a short deadline is awesome. Impressive girl.
This is superb. That photo of the little boy would make any national ad campaign. I love that the train is out of focus. It gives it motion.
Can I stand two great photographic talents in the family?
