oh dear

The last time I blogged I was done with second quarter.... Right now I'm done with 3rd quarter and on summer break. Oops.

I do have an excuse. I don't think it's very good though. 3rd Quarter really kicked my butt. I had many person issues, and I shed many tears. This next quarter things are going to change. I have a plan.

I'll try to touch on some of the good things that happened 3rd quarter and I won't mention the bad.

I had an awesome photojournalism class. I had an amazing opportunity to spend a day with the Chandlers and photograph them being themselves. It rocked! I also got to spend sometime at starbucks photographing my amazing friend Lindsay at work. I also photographed my boss at work which was really cool. I love photojournalism it's one of my favorite things to do!

I also had 3 awesome assignments from Jeff one of my professors. We had to make CD, DVD and book covers. It was awesome because we got to be really creative. Unfortunately I procrastinated and I don't think I did the best I could. But we are talking about the good aspects of 3rd quarter.

We got a new professor. Charlie. He was good except he took forever on reviews and I don't think I learned anything in his photoshop class. (Think positive sara!)

There was a week that My roommate Krystal and my friend Ashleigh and I accompanied my professor Jim to Atlanta to help photograph a technical college seminar. It was a fun trip but yeah.... there was a lot of bad so I won't go there.

I went on a really fun rafting trip with the school.

I think my favorite thing about 3rd quarter was that we finally started playing soccer. We were doing intramural but that didn't work. So after dinner we would get as many people that wanted to play and we would juts scrimmage. It was awesome. We played almost every day. And of course I mad new friends so that was awesome!

We also played volleyball. Unfortunately I'm not very good at that sport. We also played Tennis. I must have forgotten everything I learned when I took lessons so many years ago because I was not very good. But on a side note I've been playing for the past 2 days and I've gotten a lot better!

Also, the last week few weeks I started running with some friends. It was awesome to get back in shape! I can't wait to continue running this next quarter!

I made a lot of new friends this past quarter and I also made other friendships stronger!

There will be a big change for this next quarter. I'm moving out of my room. I'm staying in the dorms but I'm moving in with my friend Ashleigh. I think this will be a good change. I had wanted to move out of the dorms completely. That didn't work out. So I'm hoping that this change will be enough.

Lastly, pray for my car, it's had a rough quarter as well. It's in the shop getting it's second clutch. = ( I should get it back today so that will be good.

Oh I almost forgot. I had a surprise party thing last week. Ashleigh and Brian along with Daniel planed to surprise me for my Birthday. It was wonderful 4 of my friends met me at Applebees! They each had to drive like 2 hours to get there so it made me feel incredibly special! Daniel was so cute trying not to ruin the surprise!

I have great friends. = )

That pretty much sums up the good things that happened this quarter. There was a lot. I'm hoping that this next quarter will be even better and I'm praying that I won't procrastinate nearly as much this quarter as I did last quarter. I'm excited to move into my new room as well.
